birth of my son

I agonized over what my first tattoo should be. What finally sparked an idea I wanted to commit to was the birth of my son. I realized that no matter who he became or how my life would change, I would always want to be reminded of him and how he changes my life for the better every day.

The design itself is the relative position of the planets on the day of his birth. It combines my love and wonder of the cosmos with my love and wonder of life itself, and how my son represents that to me. I will cherish it always.

I am so happy I stumbled across a Kintsugi ad. I really loved the fact that it wasn't a full shop filled with lots of other clients and random conversations.Your attention and passion for your craft are very apparent, and I will definitely be letting you know once I've pondered what I want to next.

stand for equality

I identify as a feminist and I wanted that to be apparent. I stand for equality no matter a person's sex, gender identity, race, color, or creed. Seeing my tattoo everyday keeps it in the forefront of my mind, to always advocate for equality.

find strength & keep going

The sunburst inspires strength during dark times and encourages to look ahead. During times of darkness, I like to go back to the sunburst symbol and look for that inspiration to find strength and keep going.

My experience with Rami was super great! It was my very first tattoo and I was incredibly nervous. Right away Rami helped me to feel calm and confident in getting my tattoo. I was also so incredibly grateful for the time and talent she put into designing my tattoo. I love it and I view it as a piece of art that I will cherish forever.
